Memorial Hospital is a 104-bed medical center providng healthcare services to residents in Cass and surrounding counties. The hospital is staffed by more than 80 active and consulting physicians, specializing in over 20 areas of medicine. A support staff of more than 600 skilled and dedicated employees is complemented by almost 400 volunteers. Memorial Hospital is accredited by Healthcare Facility Accreditation Program (HFAP).
In an effort to promote health and wellness in the community, Memorial Hospital developed the River Bluff Trail along the north bank of the Eel River in downtown Logansport. It features a 1.3-mile handicap-accessible paved trail and canoe/kayak launch, with three bridges, picnic area, rest stops, entrances and parking at both ends. The trail not only impacts the health of area residents in a positive way through exercise, but it also enhances economic development and creates a focal point along a scenic waterway. |
