The Logansport/Cass County Chamber of Commerce is a working partnership between the leading businesses, professionals, and service organizations in Cass County.
Its purpose is to make Logansport and Cass County a better places in which to live, operate a business, and raise a family.
Membership, of course, is entirely voluntary, and dues are assessed on a "fair share" basis.
The Chamber provides valuable networking opportunities for its members, serves as a resource for prospective new residents, and serves as the business community's link to local, state and federal government. The Chamber is also a valuable link within the County's nonprofit community and serves as a clearinghouse of information to such organizations.
The organization is governed by an elected Board of Directors, led by an Executive Committee. The Chamber's staff includes Brian Shafer (president) and Teresa Cassell (executive assistant). Much of the organization's work is carried out by four standing committees (Business Advocacy, Education Alliance, Capacity Building, Information and Communication).
